Kathleen McCallister - Founder
Kathleen having served 18 years in public service now serves New Hope as founder and board liaison. Providing nearly 9 years of hands-on experience with women in life recovery and a passion to see them grow in life and God, she works tirelessly to that end. Kathleen’s understanding of systems and desire to provide a program of excellence to participants provides key insight and focus for New Hope.
Eunice Arant - Community Liaison/Chaplain
Having served and directed jail ministry for over 10 years in the Douglas County Correctional Center, Eunice brings a heart of service and love that is filled with wisdom and insight in effectuating change in the lives of broken women. Eunice also brings strong teaching of the scriptures, and equipping of women. New Hope is surely favored by her strong leadership and gifting. Eunice teaches Bible, recruits and trains volunteers, and transitions women from the incarceration into New Hope Life Center. Eunice is currently attending the University of Nebraska Omaha as a Goodrich Scholar.
Rebecca Berendsen- Program Director
Becca is currently completing her practicum in Social Work and Public Administration while she serves with us here at New Hope. Becca brings a strong focus on organizational structure and synchronizing program goals with outcomes in order to provide objective measurement of program success. Becca has a tremendous love for women, and is a strong support to the women of New Hope. We are striving to achieve excellence, and with Becca’s help we are certain to achieve that goal.
Brittney Baker
Brittney comes to us from the Dream Center in St. Louis having served in a variety of capacities. Brittney loves to minister in music as she sings songs of hope. Brittney serves as a resident assistant providing overnight supervision and support for the women of New Hope. Brittney is pursuing a degree in Social Work.
Stacy Christopherson
With a love for Christ, 24 hour prayer and women in recovery, Stacy offers tremendous friendship and support to women seeking change. Stacy makes certain that we have food for the body and the soul as she assists in administration of the household! Stacy is pursuing a degree in Drug and Alcohol Counseling.
