Women's Transitional Living
OUR VISION:
New Hope Life Centers were created to see individuals receive healing from past pain and failure, establish new paradigms for living, and successfully become able to sustain and grow their own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual life throughout all of life. This is accomplished through knowledge, application and experience with the love of God through Jesus Christ, as personalized by His Spirit.
Our goal is to effect long-term behavioral change for women during in the New Hope Life Center for Women, as we facilitate the integration of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing, combined with personal growth in practical life skills and the ability to fully participate in the broader community; thriving life.
RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMMING:
The New Hope Life Center for Women offers a six month minimum program commitment which addresses focused physical, mental, emotional and spiritual programming for our residents.
NON-RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMMING:
The New Hope Life Center for Women offers evening programming and support for women who seek support in their recovery, but are not candidates for the residential program.
WHOLISTIC FOCUS:
Track 1 encourages the participant to deal with life recovery and trauma healing through Bible-based small group engagement, focusing on maturing the thinking and spiritual/emotional processing of the individual. Restarting™ is utilized over an 18-week period, while engaging the broader support base of a variety of individuals in the community. This model assists in the recovery process by establishing mutual commitment between participants and creating a healthy relational community. (Life Model™)
Track 2 provides a strong foundation of biblical knowledge from which residents can establish a Christian worldview that guides decision-making in all areas of life, and activates this learning through practical application. (Biblical Discipleship)
Track 3 utilizes the 12 Steps of Recovery to maintain sober living, and includes relapse prevention skills through the Genesis Process™.
Track 4 provides for the integration of Tracks 1, 2, and 3, while learning and applying practical life skills in all areas: employment, relationships, family, parenting, co-dependency, managing emotions, advanced education and training, community life, personal health and wellness, entertainment, church attendance, budgeting time and money, setting goals, etc. (Life Skills)
PROGRESSIVE GROWTH:
The progressive transformation of the individual happens over time, and the New Hope Life Centers supports that growth during the year (or more) that individuals reside with us:
Tier 1 - “JUMPSTART” is the first 30 days of residence. This is the time during which the individual is provided the opportunity and support to focus seriously on full life recovery. During this time, individuals are being “set up” for success; receiving a trained life coach, establishing a life plan addressing all areas: physical wellness, diet, exercise, writing a resume, learning how to interview for and hold a job, education, begin relapse prevention work, learn how to budget, journal, bible-study, build emotional and spiritual capacity, successfully participate in small group work, beginning to establish new habits and relationships.
Tier 2 - Allows the individual to secure employment while learning to successfully implement new habits toward focused goals. Individuals will increasingly gain expanded opportunities to practice new skills while addressing past pain and working toward maturity in all areas. The individual will begin to overcome previous instability and become solidly rooted in a recovery lifestyle during this 9 months phase of programming.
Tier 3 - Is the final two months* which focus on updating their personal goals and life plan for the next season of life; a new budget, a new home, refining family unification relationships for smooth transition, establishing additional support mechanisms, and addressing statistically prominent relapse triggers. Graduation from our program indicates that the individual has demonstrated measurable and significant growth over time and has the skills and capacity to thrive in the broader community.
